Following on from our successful first WIG in January, ICEBERG are delighted to continue, this time with support from Creative Scotland and CCA Glasgow!

There's several ways to be involved in this weekend - from a public workshop, to a performance from all artists involved on the Saturday.

Performance Saturday the 6th July 7:15pm: An evening of instantly composed music, dance and storytelling performances by members of improvisation group ICEBERG, Jer Reid & Alex South (of Collective Endeavours), Something Smashing (Edinburgh) and performers Monika Smekot, Stephanie Arsoska and Kim McClelland. £8 (£5) Book online at CCA website.

Workshop Sunday the 7th July 6pm: This workshop is open to all disciplines, backgrounds, interests and ages. Using movement, sound and text as tools, ICEBERG will support participants in exploring ways of generating spontaneous material, supporting each other in doing so and finding efficiency and clarity within improvised work across mediums. With focus on play and pleasure, we will facilitate a safe space for personal explorations and duet work £8 (£5) Book via email zoekatsilerou@gmail.com.

OR - express your interest in an observer place. A limited number of places will be available to be a "fly on the wall" for two days whilst artists from ICEBERG, Something Smashing, Collective Endeavours and other individual improvisers share practices. In the first instance, please send a short paragraph of interest to ICEBERG via Facebook, or email cantgetyououtofmyhead@hotmail.com.

All decisions will be made collectively by ICEBERG.

We can't tell you how important this kind of event is for the improvisational scene in Scotland - what it means for audiences, artists and the wider arts scene, and we do hope you can join us!
